”This bestseller withstood a variety of publications and have always found the finds and will find its readers. The first edition was published in the early ’70s, with the beginning of registration of the GAZ-24, the sixth edition was published in 1995. The book was produced by different publishers for much longer than was produced by GAZ-24 GAZ assembly line.

Interest in this book is clear. Car books 60s 70s, unlike today, contained a lot of useful technical information about car repairs car owners themselves. Information in the book is very far from a simple instruction manual. In fact, in the book you can get information about the device and repair any host machine.

Now, thanks to Dmitry Kulakov, who took over the titanic work for scanning books and graciously granted the scanned material, as well as the humble work of editing conducted by the author of this site, we are able to gain access to the full electronic version of the bestseller – the second edition of the book ”Car Volga GAZ-24 ”, having published in Mechanical Engineering in 1975.

Full description of the GAZ-24, more than 200 drawings of excellent quality, a guide to adjusting the basic data – that’s what gives us this book.”
